Hearn claimed he only touched a detached piece of the pool's liner to examine it and denied touching a government hose, though he acknowledged his bike might have. President Donald Trump has blamed vandals and ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl for damage to the pool, which has experienced algae growth and peeling lining since a multi-million-dollar refurbishment.
