Hadi Alodid, a 30-year-old Sudanese national, was charged with attempted murder after a knife attack on Stephen Ogilvie in Belfast on Monday. The attack, captured on video, sparked two nights of anti-immigrant riots in which masked men burned homes, vehicles, and a bus. Police deployed water cannons and made arrests as political leaders condemned the violence.
