Businessman and farmer Zach Lahn won the Iowa Republican primary for governor on June 3, 2026, defeating Rep. Randy Feenstra, who had received a last-minute endorsement from President Donald Trump. Lahn, endorsed by the MAHA movement, will face Democratic State Auditor Rob Sand in the November general election to succeed retiring Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds.
