State Rep. Josh Turek won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Iowa, defeating state Sen. Zach Wahls. Rep. Ashley Hinson won the Republican primary, defeating Jim Carlin. Both will face each other in the November general election for the seat being vacated by retiring Republican Sen. Joni Ernst.
