A man barricaded himself inside a Chase Bank building in Bakersfield, California, on Tuesday afternoon following a bomb threat, holding several people hostage. After approximately 12 hours of negotiations, during which two hostages were released, FBI personnel shot and killed the suspect early Wednesday morning. All remaining hostages were freed unharmed.
