An Emerson College poll released Thursday found former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg leading the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination field with 18% support among likely primary voters. Gavin Newsom placed second at 16%, followed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at 11%, with Josh Shapiro and Kamala Harris each at 10%.
